ACRIOS is a member of the OMS-Group
OMS is an open, vendor-independent standard for smart metering communication. As a member of the OMS-Group, ACRIOS supports interoperability between meters and systems and an approach that keeps customers in control of their data rather than tying them to a single vendor.
That's exactly why we back OMS: we don't believe in locking customers in, and OMS lets them stay in control of their own data. In practice, many installed meters still use proprietary protocols, so sometimes we need to support those too. For example, our wM-Bus gateway reads OMS plus five proprietary protocols. In the real world, it's rarely just one or the other.
We're looking forward to a day when most of the industry has converged on one interoperable standard. To us, OMS is a circle of like-minded people, and that's a group we want to be part of.
Where ACRIOS Systems operates
We are based in the Czech Republic and we manufacture and develop within the European Union.
You can find our converters in projects across Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Austria, Lithuania, Estonia, Cyprus and other European countries. Beyond Europe, our products are also used in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and South Africa.
