ACRIOS and Quectel announce strategic partnership cooperation to bring smart module technologies to small and medium enterprises

ACRIOS Systems and Quectel Wireless Solutions have entered into a strategic partnership to bring the benefits of modern smart modules with Linux/Android OS to small and medium-sized manufacturers (SMEs). The partnership will help companies develop professional IoT devices faster and more efficiently – such as dispensing and delivery boxes, vending machines, parking systems, metering devices, smart home devices and industrial control modules.

The agreement was signed on November 6, 2025. The first joint projects and technical training will be fully launched during 2026.

Supporting SME manufacturers and accelerating IoT device development

Small and medium-sized companies in Central Europe often encounter the technical complexity of integrating Smart modules. These platforms, which combine computing power, storage, connectivity and interfaces in one unit, allow the creation of high-performance, professional devices. However, their implementation usually requires experience in hardware, software and communication design, which smaller development teams often lack.

This is where the cooperation between ACRIOS and Quectel brings a fundamental change. As a technology partner, ACRIOS will provide companies from the region with local support, architecture design, firmware and prototype validation, while Quectel will provide product know-how and engineering support. The goal is to open up access to cutting-edge technologies and companies that produce smaller series of devices and enable them to use professional design standards.

Combining local expertise and global know-how

ACRIOS Systems is a Czech technology company focused on IoT, smart metering, data infrastructure and CRA issues, which it addresses, among other things, as part of a project of the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TA ČR) in cooperation with Masaryk University. The project focuses on the development of adaptive communication combining LoRaWAN and NB-IoT, which will enable more reliable data transmission in battery operation and security exceeding the requirements of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).

ACRIOS builds on its experience in the design of embedded devices, firmware development and integration of communication technologies such as LoRaWAN and NB-IoT. It has been developing competencies in the field of functional safety and cybersecurity for a long time.

Quectel Wireless Solutions is an end-to-end global IoT solutions provider, offering a full suite of IoT solutions, spanning cellular, GNSS, smart, satellite, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules alongside high performance antennas, value-added services and full turnkey offerings including ODM services and system integration. Its technologies are used across industries, from transportation and healthcare to industrial automation and smart city infrastructure.

Partner Statement

“This collaboration will allow us to extend Quectel’s solutions and brand awareness to customers who previously found it difficult or impossible to reach support related to the development and maintenance of solutions based on Smart modules. Thanks to this, we can help increase their competitiveness,” says Radim Malinowski, CEO of ACRIOS Systems.

“ACRIOS Systems has deep technical know-how in the field of embedded development and excellent knowledge of customer needs in Central and Eastern Europe. Together, we want to bring modern technologies closer to smaller companies and accelerate the development of innovative devices,” adds Željko Marić, Product Development Manager EMEA, Quectel.
